Welcome to Lime Academy Abbotsmede
It is a real privilege to welcome you to Lime Academy Abbotsmede and to share with you what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.
At Abbotsmede, every child is known, valued and encouraged to thrive. We recognise that each child arrives with their own experiences, strengths, interests and aspirations, and we take the time to understand them as individuals. Our ambition is for every child to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed, both now and in the future. Through high expectations, rich learning experiences and strong support, we help children achieve more than they may ever have imagined possible.
Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We want every child to feel safe, respected and that they truly belong. Our dedicated staff work hard to create an environment where learning is purposeful and ambitious, while curiosity, creativity, kindness and joy are woven into everyday school life. These values help shape not only successful learners but also confident, caring young people.
We know that the best outcomes for children are achieved when schools and families work together. As part of Lime Trust, we have introduced a Parental Participation Strategy that strengthens opportunities for parents and carers to share their views, become involved in school life and work in partnership with us.
You can find out more about the Lime Academy Abbotsmede Parental Participation Strategy on the Governance page of our website.
At Abbotsmede, we put learners first. We are proud to offer an education that is ambitious, purposeful and nurturing; one where hard work sits alongside kindness, laughter and a genuine sense of community. I am incredibly proud of our school and excited about the future as we continue to develop opportunities that enable every child to flourish.
Whether you are already part of our school community or are considering joining us, I hope our website provides a helpful insight into life at Abbotsmede. However, there is no substitute for seeing our school in action. I warmly invite you to visit us, meet our children, talk to our staff and experience the welcoming atmosphere for yourself. You will always be very welcome at Abbotsmede.
